- 01Inspect — we check the fibre and backing, traffic lanes, stains, access, and whether shop-bought products or bleach have been used before
- 02Prepare and pre-treat — loose debris is removed where needed, and suitable pre-treatment goes onto soiled lanes and visible marks so it has time to work
- 03Extract — hot water and cleaning solution are worked into the pile, then pulled straight back out with the dirt and most of the moisture

Drying Time and Aftercare
How long does it take?
Most carpets are dry within two to four hours. Wool, thick pile, cold or humid rooms, and heavily soiled carpets can take longer.
In the meantime
- Ventilate — open windows and keep the air moving
- Keep shoes off until the carpet is completely dry
- Wait before moving furniture back — and if you must, use foil or blocks under the legs, because heavy furniture on damp carpet can leave marks
- Wait to vacuum until it's fully dry
- Let us know if it still feels damp well beyond the expected time, or smells musty
